Steve Mitchell

Steve Mitchell, elected Mayor 2022, has been a borough resident since 1981 and has been actively involved in community leadership. He served on the Borough Council in the late eighties and helped with the start-up of the Mountville Pool. Steve also contributed to local recreation as a board member of the
Hempfield Area Recreation Commission from 2004 to 2012. Steve serves on the Mountville Borough Authority. Steve Mitchell's career began at Sperry New Holland, now CHN, where he worked until retiring in April 2015.
Richard Spiegel

Richard Spiegel has been a borough resident since 2004. He has chaired committees on Public Safety – Health & Sanitation, and Recreation & Culture, and served as President of the Mountville Historical Society. Richard currently works full-time as a Project Manager at White Oak Display & Design, holding a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson State University.
His commitment to local affairs is exemplified by his twelve years on the Borough Council and his role as Co-Chair of the 2014 Mountville Bi-Centennial Committee. Active in local organizations including the Mountville Historical Society, Lions Club, and VFW Social, Phil also retired as a Tech Ed teacher from Hempfield School District in 2011. He has played electric bass guitar for 55 years and remains active in the local music scene.

Theresa Baker, a Borough resident since 2004, brings a wealth of expertise in social services and healthcare to her community. She holds an undergraduate degree from Millersville University and a graduate degree from the University of Maryland. Theresa's early career focused on family services and child welfare, later expanding into healthcare and senior living settings. As a licensed clinical
therapist, she is dedicated to enhancing mental health and well-being. Theresa is also a valued member of the Lancaster County Critical Stress Management Team, providing crucial support during challenging times.

Jonah Eastep, a former resident from 1984 to 1992, returned to the town in 2016 and since then continues to call Mountville Borough home.
Daniel (Danny) Good

Daniel Good, a resident of Mountville since 1979, has been a longstanding member of the community and resides in the Summit Hills development. He recently retired from Good Transportation Services, the family business where he dedicated 45 years of his career.
